Mrs. Alyssa is the Founder & Director of Grassroots Learning, and is the Lead Teacher of the Elementary School Co-op. Before starting Grassroots, she was a teacher, Dean of Curriculum, Instructional Coach, and School Principal at schools in Southern California and New York City. She was inspired by her three children to start Grassroots and bring an innovative learning program to Mason County.
Mrs. RyAnne is the Co-Teacher of our Elementary Co-Op, and is an experienced homeschool parent with a passion for hands-on learning and a love of Montessori Education. She works with students in our classroom and also leads our elementary Farm Friday program, where we embrace outdoor learning and homesteading skills.
Mrs. Mackenzie is the Preschool Co-op Lead Teacher at Grassroots Learning. Anna has been grateful to get to know so many wonderful people in our community, and is excited to be a part of the Grassroots family.
Mrs. Ahu is our preschool Assistant Teacher at Grassroots Learning. She assists primarily during our outdoor learning days at Wetland Wednesdays, but you can find her often jumping in and helping meet the needs of staff and students on any given day of the week. Mrs. Ahu is a mother of two sons and has been part of Grassroots Learning since the first year of our preschool cohort.
