Mrs. Alyssa is the Founder & Director of Grassroots Learning, and is the Literacy Guide of both Elementary Co-op Cohorts. Before starting Grassroots, she was a teacher, Dean of Curriculum, Instructional Coach, and School Principal at schools in Southern California and New York City. She was inspired by her three children to start Grassroo

Mrs. Mackenzie is a parent in our co-op and the Assistant Guide to our cohorts. Her background is in healthcare and she still works as a Registered Nurse. Her family has called Allyn home since 2020 and have welcomed two daughters since joining our community.

Mrs. RyAnne is a founding parent in our co-op and the lead of our homesteading enrichment workshops. She homeschooled her two sons into adulthood, and now homeschools her daughter on their family farm. She shares her expertise in homeschooling, Montessori, and homesteading with us!

Mrs. Maddy is a parent of three in our co-op and the lead of our arts and crafts enrichment workshops. Her family has been part of the Grassroots community for three years now. She has a background in education and Montessori and loves leading the kids in "all things messy!"

Mrs. Emily is a Grassroots homeschool parent and the lead of our Homeschool Enrichment Workshops. Emily's love of nature, whimsy, and literature is contagious, and her gentle, peaceful presence creates an environment where families feel welcomed, encouraged, and inspired to explore.
